How the calculation works
Print size equals pixels divided by DPI. For example, 2,400 pixels at 300 DPI produces an 8-inch edge, or 203.2 millimetres.
Higher DPI uses more pixels for the same physical size. It does not create extra detail that is not present in the original file.
