Print size calculator

Enter your pixel dimensions and target DPI to see the physical print size in inches and millimetres.

Calculate a print size

How the calculation works

Print size equals pixels divided by DPI. For example, 2,400 pixels at 300 DPI produces an 8-inch edge, or 203.2 millimetres.

Higher DPI uses more pixels for the same physical size. It does not create extra detail that is not present in the original file.
